The very first SSLA Mural Festival is set to help bring the same world-class talent & quality of large-scale public art murals that you’ve come to know and love from the SpraySee Team to the community of Mid-City, Los Angeles! Not only does LA have an impressive amount of muralists as a whole, there are many who reside in Mid-City and call this neighborhood home. With the partnership of local artists and the amazing individuals who make up the Public Arts Committee of the Mid-City Neighborhood Council (MINC), we aim to celebrate creative expression in the best way we know how, through immersive & awe-inspiring murals! This year we are also focusing on inspiring the returning students of two Mid-City elementary schools by transforming their campus’ through multiple new murals and offering a bit of brightness in the time of the pandemic. We have a minimum goal of reaching $50,000 in financial sponsorships. Every monetary donation goes to making this festival a reality; from material and equipment costs, hospitality for the artists, and events for the public to participate in, every little helps!
